Tax Form Q&A: Information that may be helpful to you in planning and reporting taxes on your mutual funds. This Q&A explains the tax forms we send to you (1099-DIV, 1099-B), details about what is being reported, and how it applies to your tax return.

Tax Information Sheet: A chart to assist you with your federal and state income tax returns, including the percentage of U.S. Obligation holdings in each Fund.

2007 Foreign Income and Taxes Paid: Taxpayers may no longer be required to use this information in order to claim the foreign tax credit. Please refer to the Foreign Tax Credit Worksheet to see if you are eligible to claim the credit without filing the Form 1116. The IRS released Proposed Regulations in 2006 which would no longer require mutual funds to report foreign income by country. You should consult your tax adviser to determine whether you are required to report foreign source income and taxes withheld by country. For your convenience, you can access a worksheet for the country-by-country foreign tax paid for The Oakmark Global Fund, The Oakmark International Fund, and The Oakmark International Small Cap Fund.

Tax Center: Access an online tax center sponsored by TurboTax®. We hope you find this information useful in your tax preparation. This should not be considered tax advice; please consult a tax professional for questions unique to your situation.

You can download 2007 tax information for your Oakmark funds directly into TurboTax® via the Web. It's easy to download Oakmark tax information if you prepare your taxes online through TurboTax® or if you use TurboTax® software.

Distribution Basics: To help you learn more about the basics of fund distributions and taxation, including definitions of key terms and at what rate distributions are taxed.

Historical Distributions: Distributions per year for each fund.

As always, please consult your accountant or tax advisor for detailed information applicable to your unique situation.
